We’re raising £1,500 to purchase and deliver books to communities across Somalia as part of a grassroots initiative to support education, leadership development, and improved living standards.

Why Books? In much of Somalia, access to reliable educational materials is extremely limited. Institutions often operate without updated books or learning tools, community leaders lack written guidance for managing local challenges, and young people eager to learn have few resources to develop their potential—especially given unreliable internet access.

By supplying carefully chosen books focused on topics like leadership, women’s security, and climate change/stabilisation, we aim to equip Somali individuals and institutions with the tools they need to drive meaningful change from within.

Work With Us

We’re looking for passionate, thoughtful individuals to join our growing team—especially university students or recent graduates with backgrounds in international relations, development studies, political science, or related fields. If you’re eager to contribute to meaningful research and engage with critical issues affecting Somalia and the wider region, we want to hear from you.

Our work spans gender equality, peace-building, climate resilience, and governance. Joining us means gaining hands-on experience in grassroots research, research reports, and content development, all within a mission-driven organisation committed to long-term impact.

Whether you're early in your career or looking to build experience in the development or human security sectors, this is an opportunity to grow while making a tangible difference.

Volunteer

Volunteering with us means being part of something bigger. Whether you're helping with outreach, developing materials, or offering behind-the-scenes support, your time directly supports education, equality, and local resilience.

No experience needed—just a willingness to contribute and a belief in grassroots change.
